After 15 years as a Professional Recruiter - 8 years with HCA's West Florida and Midwest Hospital Divisions, Joy trained in CA with Pati Pavlik, widely recognized as "The Mother of Permanent Makeup" and other exceptional trainers. She then spent 2 years at Divine Dermatology in St. Petersburg, with Carol Sims-Robertson, MD and learned about skin - it's conditions, diseases and treatment - plus the latest in cometic procedures to enhance and refresh natural beauty. Her practice includes permanent makeup and paramedical procedures for conditions such as alopecia, vitiligo and pre cancer treatment. Her services extend to scar repair from biopsy or surgery, a specialty practice in which pigment is added to the area to help it blend with natural skin tone.
In her youth as a full-time professional model in Philadelphia, Joy's client companies included Macy's, Saks, Hess's, London Fog and others. Joy knows how professional makeup artists "work their magic" firsthand and received training with both Clinique and Lancome.
